ninguém vai sair

ninguém vai sair, is a work I have created inspired by the time I have spent in bairro do TALUDE, Apelação and Quinta do Mocho, as part of PLAY(THE)GROUND residency. The compositrion is made up of manipulation of recordings I have capture at bairro do Talude.

The image has been captured on 14th of July 2025 in bairro de Talude, in the context of in proximty to work I’ve been engaging in. On this day informal houses of Sao Tome community has been unlawfully destroyed by the local authorities.

thirdthing – takva(live at Rubro)

thirdthing is a project we have started with masya,,. We have spent three month in Waahs Studios in Lisbon using, as a starting point our seperate sound works we have created, in search of a third sound. This is a recording from our first official concert that took place in Sao Miguel, Azores on 9 July 2026 organized by Marca Pistola. I am using the elctric guitar as a live element while masya is mixing live samples from various tracks of ours.

I had once seen this tree,
in Berlin, 2015.
A tree, still, in a city that moved.
A glitch looping around it-
a repeating fragment
that intensifies,
asking for recognition.
